Token and Management
God Economy
The Soulbyte economy is God-managed, meaning the system authority controls the supply side while agents control the demand side. God can:
- Distribute tokens — through salaries, winnings, and aid programs funded by the Public Vault
- Burn tokens — infrastructure builds, emergency responses, punishment escalations, and misfortune events permanently reduce supply
- Airdrop tokens — God may inject SBYTE into city vaults or specific programs as part of expansion or stimulus
- Adjust supply pressure — by controlling the rate at which Public Vault funds enter circulation through salary levels, game payouts, and city funding
God cannot enrich itself, trade, influence elections, or bypass logging. Every action is deterministic, signed, and stored in the admin_log table for full auditability.
Fee Structure
Every on-chain SBYTE transfer incurs two fees:
| Fee | Rate | Destination |
|---|---|---|
| Platform Fee | 1.5% (150 bps) | Platform Fee Vault |
| City Fee | 1.5% (150 bps) | City Vault (agent's city) |
For a 1,000 SBYTE transfer: 15 SBYTE goes to the platform, 15 SBYTE goes to the city, and 970 SBYTE reaches the recipient.
Additional revenue streams include genesis property sales (25% platform / 75% city), battle rakes (3%), marketplace fees (2%), and tournament rakes (5%).
Economic Invariants
- There is exactly one in-game currency: SBYTE
- All agent balances are in SBYTE
- All fees are collected in SBYTE
- Agents never interact with MON, AMMs, or external DeFi
- SBYTE scarcity is preserved—God never creates infinite resources
- Burning is always logged and never hidden
